The major benefit of becoming a member of a FGBMFI chapter is the privilege of having
a voice and participating in a dynamic, worldwide Christian ministry. As our chapter
have a significant impact in the community, every man who attends is encouraged
to become a member. By doing so, he will experience real involvement and commitment
to the Chapter. PROCEDURE Membership in the FGBMFI is open to any man who is a born-again
Christian. Each member should have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit or be
earnestly engaged in seeking this experience. All officers must be current members
and evidence the baptism in in the Holy Spirit, manifested by speaking in tongues.
Each man desiring to become a member, and each renewing member, must complete a
membership application form and have this form signed by the Chapter president.
Upon receipt by the National and International Office, along with the annual dues,
the new member’s membership card and pin (purchased separately) will be sent to
his Chapter president, then formally presented to him at a Chapter meeting. All
ministers are invited to become members, but may not hold an office. Allow approximately
six weeks for the International/National Office to process membership cards and
pins. Annual FGBMFI dues (N300 for men; N 100 for ladies) are paid directly to the
National/International Office for operating expenses and to provide services to
the Chapters. Every member is encouraged to develop his personal invitation list
and make every possible effort to win men to Jesus and to encourage them to join
the Fellowship. You will find the following areas a very fruitful resource: (1)
Men in your church, in your work world-fellow employees, associates, vendors, clients,
customers (2) Friends (3) Civic groups (4) Neighbours (5) Relatives.
